This recently renovated semi-detached chalet for 11 (8 adults max.) is in a great location in the tranquil Gotty area of La Clusaz. It's a great choice if you're looking for a quiet setting but still want to be close to all the mountain action.
It's about 2,6km to the centre of the village, where you'll find a great choice of shops, bars and restaurants, as well as a market where you can pick up delicious local produce.
The chalet is next to the Envers piste in La Clusaz, so in the winter, experienced skiers can ski straight down to the telecabine and ski school. In the summer, Chalet Cosyneige's quiet location means you have plenty of walks on your doorstep.
About the property
This charming chalet is set over three floors. Although it is semi-detached, it has its own garden with fabulous views of the Aravis valley, and private access.
You'll enter the chalet on the first floor, where you'll find the main living area. There's a well-equipped kitchen, and a dining area with a table large enough for everyone to sit down together. After your meal, relax on the cosy sofas around a crackling fire, or curl up with a book at a separate seating area with doors on to the terrace. This has another dining area with a barbecue, and a sheltered seating area where you can enjoy the mountain views. There's also a hot tub in the garden - the perfect way to relax at the end of the day, whether it's sunny or snowing!
Chalet Cosyneige has five double bedrooms with crisp white linen and neutral tones for a good night's sleep. There are two double rooms on the top floor, which share a bathroom. Three more bedrooms can be found on the ground floor: a twin room; a triple room with bunk beds and a single bed; and a double room. There are also two shower rooms and a bathroom on this floor, as well as a utility room with a washing machine and dryer, and a storage room with an extra fridge/freezer.
There is a garage for one car with ski storage, and two more parking places.
About the area ...
There's a great choice of winter sports right on your doorstep at Chalet Cosyneige, with direct access to the Envers piste for experienced skiers.
There are nursery slopes and gentle blues on Beauregard and more experienced skiers and boarders will find plenty of challenge at La Balme. There's also a good choice of cross-country trails, particularly on the Beauregard plateau - pick up a map from the tourist office in La Clusaz.
Non-skiers can get their skates on at the ice rink in La Clusaz, go to the cinema, or try sledging, snow-shoe walking, dog-sledding and sleigh rides. If you're looking for the ultimate in relaxation, let your cares float away in the heated outdoor pool at La Clusaz, while the snow falls gently around you.
Just 35 minutes away, the medieval city of Annecy offers a great choice of shops, restaurants, galleries and museums, as well as swimming, boating, golf and watersports in the cleanest lake in Europe. At the end of the day, relax over a meal in a local restaurant, or perhaps a barbecue and a glass of wine on the terrace of your chalet as the sun sinks behind the peaks.
When the snow melts, the pistes are transformed into lush pastures criss-crossed by hiking and biking trails. Take a hike into the Col des Aravis, or to the base of the via ferrata from the front door, and you may spot chamois or marmots.
Bikers and hikers can enjoy some stunning views across to the Mont Blanc chain from various points along the Col. If you don't fancy the long climb, some parts of the ski lift system open during the summer to ferry you and your bike into the mountains of La Clusaz or Merdassier, then you can descend at your own pace.
For a really special day, you can hire donkeys from a farm on the Col des Aravis for a day's trekking, or try horse-riding, climbing, and paragliding.
If you think Chalet Cosyneige would be the perfect fit for your next Alpine holiday, check your dates against our availability calendar - we can hold two weeks for you for 24 hours, without obligation.
But don't leave it too long - this chalet is bound to be popular with our guests.

The OVO Network Review
“A great choice for a holiday with children”
Chalet Cosyneige is a semi-detached chalet for 11 guests plus a baby. The accommodation is set over three floors.
Although the chalet is semi-detached, the garden and outside areas are very private.
We love the quiet location on the edge of the forest, with a little stream running close by. The garden is lovely, with a lawn perfect for sunbathing, the hot tub where you can relax after a busy day and the wraparound terrace with areas to eat or just relax.
The main living area has two separate seating areas - cosy sofas sound the fire and a separate area next to the doors opening on to the terrace where you can relax with a book and make the most of the wonderful light. The decor is neutral but warm and the room layout makes the most of the chalet's exposed wooden framework.
Children will love their own three-bed room, with built-in bunk beds. If you're visiting with a baby, there's a cot room off one of the double rooms - you get your own privacy, but your baby is close by.
This room also overlooks the main living area, so it's easy to keep an eye on your baby while you relax during the evening.

From the owner
A cosy chalet with great snow!
What made us choose the name Cosyneige? We chose cosy, because the chalet's traditional construction is very warm and welcoming - it's all wood with exposed beams, a stone fireplace and a decor inspired by peace and well-being. Comfort was our priority to the last detail - the materials, the colours and the lighting were all carefully chosen to create a cosy atmosphere.
There's plenty of room for 11 people and a baby. There's a games room for children, adults will love the relaxing ambience and the baby gets his own bedroom off the parents' room.
The chalet has five bedrooms, four bathrooms, a large living area with and open-plan kitchen, a laundry room and a cellar - everything has been designed and equipped with our visitors in mind.
Outside you'll find a large wooden terrace with a dining table for 12 people, a covered seating area, a lawn with sunbeds, and a hot tub which seats six, which you can use in summer or winter.
There is room to park three cars (one of them in the garage).
The neige part of the name is because this area usually sees a lot of snow in the winter - it faces Etale, with its legendary ski slopes, and is very close to the green run which connects the La Clusaz ski area.
The chalet nestles in a quiet spot on the edge of the forest, by a little stream, and is sure to be the perfect base for a wonderful holiday.

“Very nice stay!”
The chalet was very comfortable, very clean and very well equipped. It's in a particularly quiet environment. We had a very friendly welcome from the chalet manager.

“Everything was as described, clean and beautifully decorated!”
The chalet is very well located, a little out of the way, in a quiet area, but still close to the village centre. The teenagers went to the village on their own (by bike or on foot via the green run). The chalet's infrastructure is as described on the website, and we particularly appreciated the jaccuzi, the terrace and the plancha. Special mention to Jean-Philippe and Karolina who were very quick to respond to any of our questions or needs.

Superb view of La Clusaz, perfect chalet for a group looking for a place to spend an excellent stay of several days.

“Comfortable and true to the photos”
We enjoyed this great chalet, especially its hot tub. We were happy to discover this area.
— Denis H. May 2021
“A great setting”
A great setting, quiet and just as described.

“A chalet that lives up to its name”
Chalet exactly like the website's photos. It lived up to our expectations. Nothing was missing. Very cosy and warm. Everything you need to feel right at home. Jean-Philippe the manager gave us an excellent welcome, with advice and a real interest in the chalet COZYNEIGE and the resort.

“Really good stay”
The chalet is well equipped, with a good level of comfort, and in a quiet area. The bedding is of good quality, the bathrooms refurbished. The outdoor jacuzzi was much appreciated. If we really had to note a "negative" point: the kitchen which seemed small to us if the chalet is booked at full capacity. Other than that, nothing else! Note: the ease of contacting Jean-Philippe, the manager, who was available when necessary. Despite our desires for downhill skiing and the closure of the lifts, we enjoyed snowshoeing and cross-country skiing in sumptuous landscapes.
